NETRARIT Foundation: A Rural Technology Business Incubator for betterment of Rural India by nurturing Start up Ecosystem.

NETRARIT Foundation RIT-TBI (NRiT) is a company registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act 2013 (CIN:U85300PN2019NPL182641) and is a prestigious initiative of Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, Rajaramnagar (RIT) duly represented by its Directors, ShriBhagatRajaramPatil, ShriVikasMarutiKardile, Smt. SushmaShekharKulkarni, ShriRamchandraDnyandeoSawant and Shri Nikhil LilakarKulkarni.

NRiT is an Incubator granted by Maharashtra State Innovation Society (MSInS) and powered by Kasegaon Education Society that helps entrepreneurs and early stage startups to develop their business, especially in the initial stages. With our experience in the business and technology world we support entrepreneurs and early stage startups by providing technological facilities, IP support, advice, initial growth funds, network and linkages, co-working spaces, lab facilities, mentoring and advisory support. Our focus sectors are AgriTech, HealthTech, EduTech, IR4.0, Solid waste Management, Robotics and Automation.

The moto of NRiT is to build the startup ecosystem in order to impact the Rural Community along with Tier-II and Tier-III communities in Employment Generation, Skilling and Education. Till date we have 35+ startups who have generated more than Rs 3 Crore funding through various government scheme like NidhiPrayas, Nidhi EIR, RGSTC, DST, Ideathons, Hackathons, AICTE Samruddhi, Institutional SEED Fundings etc.

NRiT is providing state of art technical lab facilities through its AICTE IDEA Lab. This lab is funded by AICTE and our Industrial CSR partners worth of Rs. 1.07 Crore(Coordinated by Dr. A. B.Kakade who himself is an Innovator having several Patents) along with other labs.

NETRARIT FOUNDATION has set up a platform to:

  • Set up innovative concepts and programs for entrepreneurship, as well as industry academia interactions.
  • Enable startups/students to explore starting their venture, through a vibrant synergybetween industry and academia.
  • Bring relevant technology or solution to nurture industrial growth & create jobopportunities
  • Provide continuous mentoring support for the startups and students in the relevant areas of entrepreneurship.

NRiT is providing its support and leading in Western Maharashtra region that is Sangli, Satara, Kolhapur and some part of Kokan region. In recent Cohort launched by NRiT, incubated startups have generated around Rs. 5.50 Crore valuation. Every incubated startup journey is very interesting and motivates otheryoung minds to begin their startup.

One of our innovator minds,Dr.SupriyaSawant-More has innovated one “Third Rolling Support” product which is having a huge Scio-Economic Impact on rural India. This product has got tremendous response on social media: Rolling support fitted on a bullock cart to reduce the load of the bulls.A bullock cart can be seen with its two regular wheels. However, this unique cart came with the addition of a portable wheel. It acts as a rolling support and, due to that extra tyre, the load carried by the bulls can be significantly reduced and divided evenly
