ISTE Event 1

AICTE-ISTE SPONSORED REFRESHER PROGRAM “OUTCOME BASED EDUCATION” FROM 13TH DECEMBER,2021 TO 18TH DECEMBER,2021

AICTE ISTE based refresher program was organized at D Y Patil College of Engineeirng,Civil Department from 13th December 2021 to 18thDecemebr 2021. The inauguration function on 13 December 2021 was graced by the presence of Dr.M P Poonia Vice Chairman of AICTE and Dr.Pratapsinh Desai, President of ISTE.The program coordinator were Dr Ashok B More, HOD Civil Engineering Department and Dr SM Shiyekar. DrSachin Mane and DrTusharBagul worked as Conveners, Dr V A Kulkarni worked as Program Advisor and Faculties of the Civil Engineering department worked in the organizing committee as members to execute this program. The valedictory function on 18 December 2021 was graced by the presence of Dr B Venkat, Director AICTE and Prof. Vijay Vaidya executive secretary ISTE.

The objective of this program was to introduce institutes and Universities about the importance of Outcome Based Education, address NBA criterion related to Outcome based Education, analyze the assessment and attainment of various outcomes in the academic institutes and Universities.

Every day examinations and tests were conducted and on Day 6 last day final examination was also conducted based on total program by Dr. Sachin Mane. The entire program was conducted satisfactorily on Zoom VDO conferencing software

ISTE Event 2

SHORT TERM TRAINING PROGRAM ON REMOTE SENSING AND GIS FROM 21st FEBRUARY 2022 TO 25th FEBRUARY 2022

Short Term Taring Program was organized at D Y Patil College of Engineeirng, Civil Department in association with BOS,CivilEngineering and Indian Society for Technical Education New Delhi from 21st February 2022 to 25th February 2022.

Inauguration of the Session was graced byDr S N Londhe ,Chairman BOS,CivilEngineeing, SPPU,Pune.Dr Ashok B More,HOD,Civil,Dr N S Jain and Dr S M Shiyekar were Advisor for the events. Valedictory session was graced by Dr P K Deshpande, Associate Professor, Walchand College of Enginneirng

Various topics were covered in this STTP like Remote Sensing Technology,Image Processing ,GPS,GNSS etc. Participants from all over Maharashtra participated is the session. There was presence of even National and International level participants. Question Answer and Feedback was taken at the end of every session. The entire program was conducted satisfactorily on Zoom VDO conferencing software.

ISTE Event 3

DIMENSION – A STATE LEVEL TECHNICAL COMPETITION FROM ON 14th SEPTEMBER AND 15th SEPTEMBER 2022

Civil Engineering Student Association with Indian Society for Technical Education New Delhi and American Concrete Institute organized Dimensions on 14th and 15th September,2022 on eve of Engineers Day.

Various events were organized under Dimension like Clash of Cubes, Trembling Tower and QuizzeBuizze. The objective of this event was that student should get knowledge about mix design and testing specification, Designing Structures and to overall enhance technical knowledge.Students from all over Maharshtra participarted in the event.Cash Prize of Fifteen Thousand was given to the winners.
