Week Faculty Development Programon “Mathematical Modeling & Statistical Techniques for AIML and Data Science” From 19th December – 24th December 2022

Department of Information Technology and Electronics and Telecomunication in association with University of Mumbai conducted ISTE approved One Week Faculty Development Program on “Mathematical Modelling & Statistical Techniques for AIML and Data Science” From 19th December – 24th December 2022. The Chief Guest for the inauguration was Dr. Vivek Vijay, Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The dignitaries for the day were Dr. Suresh K. Ukarande, Principal, Dr. Sunita Patil, Vice Principal and Convener, Dr. Hariram Chavan, Cooedinator. The Principal of the Institute Dr. Suresh K. Ukarande welcomed the eminent guest with a floral bouquet and a memento.

The objective of program is to introduce and acquire the fundamental mathematical concepts of AIML & Data Science, demonstrate proficiency with statistical analysis of data, develop the ability to build, assess and deploy data-based models, learn mathematics used in algorithmic performance evaluation and optimization techniques for improvising performance and to apply data science concepts and methods to solve problems in real-world contexts and communicate these solutions effectively.
